Smoked some monster alitas de pollo. Kooked 7 wings, we both ate and have 2 left over.

Re: What did you cook today?
Just put a pork butt on my smoker for a slow overnight smoke. Sriracha binder, Cajun seasoning & brown sugar. Was planning on doing it tomorrow but they keep calling for random showers.

Re: What did you cook today?
Japanese A5 Wagyu. 425 degree skillet. Small dollop of ghee in the skillet and a little sea salt on the beef. Sear for 2 mins each side then cook to 125 degrees flipping every minute. Was done in 5-6 minutes. I am admittedly a bit disappointed. It was unbelievably tender. Cut with a fork and super rich tasting. It was VERY good. What it was not was 75 dollars for a 12oz steak good(and that's half price). It lacks the rich beefy taste of the American Angus. It was delicious but not that much tastier than the USDA Choice Prime Rib I had Monday. Was worth it to try it one time but I don't think I'd buy it again. That 75 bucks could have gotten me a half a choice ribeye roast which is like 8 or 9 pounds

Re: What did you cook today?
My first low and slow attempt with beef. Turned out AMAZING!!! Beautiful chuck roast with a little rub and cooked it at 240° for 8 hours and a few minutes to 200° and let it rest for 30-45 min. Nice bark, tender as can be and as you can see on the pan it was super jucy.
I LOVE my Kamado Joe!!! I got my vents set where I wanted and left it untended for 4 hours and 15 minutes and it was still dead on 240° when I got back home. Pretty badass!

Re: What did you cook today?
Grilled some Kroger burgers that are on sale. The BBQ & steakhouse are good. Don’t care for the black & bleu. Biting into the B&B, had a strange feel to it kind of rubbery & tough.
