The vehicle tax is state by state. In Florida you pay property tax and only on your house. There is no vehicle tax. Just a small fee for the sticker. Used to be under $20
"But now," he said, "take your money and a traveler's bag. And if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one" -Jesus (Luke 22:36 NLT)

Hey, with a name like Hearing Protection Act, maybe we can get all the Fudds behind it? And the suburban mothers too? "It's ok ma'am. With this new law, it'll be less expensive for me to quiet my rifle. I know how much the noise bothers you. You'll hardly notice I'm there!"

never have been able to bring myself to understand that one. Pay sales tax when you buy a car...then pay more tax every year because...unicorn farts?
AND pay taxes AGAIN when you sell it!
