This pic from my phone is of a panorama of the Louisville skyline that was a gift from a friend who does a lot of photography. The original pic is printed on a piece of aluminum and has a coating that is like a sprayed on glass over the image. Pretty cool I think.

The pic from my phone doesn't do the pic even a little justice. It's about 2 1/2 - 3' long and about 8" high. Super slick.

THAT, looks nasty. We zip tie a lot of cables and crap at work. Leaving a sharp cutoff is a major pet peeve due to that right there. If it's ok with you, I will be sharing your pic with my techs.

Re: Post a Pic That You Have Taken From Your Cell Phone
I knew the knife was very sharp, but I didn't know the zip tie was very soft. I cut though it and the knife kept going, its forward progress stopping when it hit bone.
It scared me more than it hurt me at the time, but it is sore today.
I've carried a knife every day for the past 45 years, and until now I've never had a cut that required more than a small bandaid. I'm glad I was taught as a kid to never cut toward yourself; otherwise, I would have gone to the ER with an abdominal stab wound.
I still felt like an idiot...because I was one. From now on I cut zip ties with wire cutters.
You 're welcome to use the photo, Gunsmoking, but in this case it was the knife rather than the zip tie that was the culprit.

Average day of eating scrambled eggs with Parmesan and cured salmon with my Spyderco in the barn at 15 degrees.

+1 on using side cutters. I have some that I ground down on the back side so they cut the zip ties flush.Frailer wrote:I knew the knife was very sharp, but I didn't know the zip tie was very soft. I cut though it and the knife kept going, its forward progress stopping when it hit bone.
