Well I did fix one of my problems now to fix the other problems. I will post an update next week. Who knows what I will break next.

Re: SBR buffers
i built up a 10.5" sbr using a rra upper. im having issues with it short stroking. i use commercial .223 ammo and the lower has a tapco mil spec m4 6 pos stock, spring and buffer. i have 2 different carbine springs (one is about an inch longer) and two carbine buffers (stock and a spikes t2). so far all combinations have the same issue. what set up do i need to go to in order to make this thing rock?do i need to run 5.56 nato ammo instead since it has higher chamber pressures than commercial .223? any help would be great thanks

Re: SBR buffers
Is it ejecting the empty case?
Does it pick up the new round?

I hade the same problem with mine. I used a Wolfe extra power spring to fix the extractor in my rilfe.

Re: SBR buffers
but would the barrel length have that much affect on the the extractor? i used the same bcg in my 16" and 20" guns and it functioned flawlessly.

Re: SBR buffers
It has more to do with dwell time.

Re: SBR buffers
My only real issue was with steal case ammo.........Dustin wrote:It has more to do with dwell time.
The extractor actually broke the rim of the casings off and became lodged in the chamber....beast to get out.......

Re: SBR buffers
Mine would leave the spent case in the chamber. You could lock the bolt back the brass would fall out.
