Re: 1911 Picture Thread
Do not think I ever posted mine up in here:

These pics are old. The Para is gona and I have added two more. Guess I had better get out the camera again.

Those are some sexy grips CD!
My 1927 Argentine Colt was begging to come out of the safe tonight, she wanted to show off.

Yeah, she's had some bodywork done.

Re: 1911 Picture Thread
I will finally break my silence in this thread with some pics that I'll post tomorrow of my AMT Hardballer short slide, stainless, of course, with ivory grips. This is one of my oldest pistols, one I used to compete in bowling pin matches years ago.
As if that's not enough, I will also be debuting a new aquisition that I aquired to go with it: a brand new GSG .22 conversion kit, based on the same upper used in the 1911-22, complete down to the threaded barrel from the factory. I got this from PSA for $199.00, absolutely the least expensive .22 upper I have ever encountered, and all the mags I have for my 1911-.22 fit and work with the kit, just fine. Add the thread adapter, just like the GSG 1911 .22, and the can threads up perfectly.
Be a little patient & I'll post some detailed pics tomorrow afternoon/evening,

This thread needs a wake up. The 1911 was handed down to Moses on the Mount, from God's hand Hisself.

Re: 1911 Picture Thread
I don't think its stainless, just a matte silver coating. I like it, adds a little contrast
