There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Sounds to me like left lane campers and state police trying to get somewhere in a hurry. I've been known to do the same thing to left lane campers slowing down the expressway traffic.

That's really a toss-up with the Ohio drivers. FIFO drivers rarely ever leave the left lane. I'm from Michigan and we had an actual driver's education class where the instructors told you every time you were going to drive that "you drive on the right lane on a two lane road and pass on the left, the same is true for freeway diving. Drive on the right, pass on the left." Of course, back in my day, it was unusual for there to be more than 2 lanes on the freeway. That is, unless you were going through a downtown area of a bigger city.rustynuts wrote:The worst.Niceguy wrote:Hoosiers are bad too.Toddstang wrote:90% of the time it's Ohio tags in the left lane holding up traffic.

From Bardstown to Louisville I see some Ohio drivers on 65, but more often than not it's Hoosier clogging up the left lane or tying up traffic on the two Lane roads. It's about 90% Indiana, 5% Kentucky and 5% everybody else.Gunsmokin wrote:That's really a toss-up with the Ohio drivers. FIFO drivers rarely ever leave the left lane. It's really just a matter of proportion. I'm thinking about all the times I drove from here to Michigan, and back, through both states. The out of state drivers from Ohio are vastly outnumbered by the Hoosiers. So, naturally their bad habits seem to be worse. Drive in their home states, and I know you have, and I contend it's really a toss-up.rustynuts wrote:From Bardstown to Louisville I see some Ohio drivers on 65, but more often than not it's Hoosier clogging up the left lane or tying up traffic on the two Lane roads. well if more po po would pull those sumbitches over and give them a ticket ...it might help.
what is it the law says "on a limited access highway (meaning interstates and parkways) the left lane is for passing" to paraphrase...

Suspected Elizabethtown police impersonators identified

New reports of someone pretending to be a police officer have surfaced in Hardin County. (Source: WAVE 3 News)
ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) – Elizabethtown Police have found two vehicles suspected in unauthorized traffic stops.
In a post on their Facebook page, the Elizabethtown Police said both black Ford Mustangs and their drivers were identified.
No "malicious intent" was suspected in both cases.
The Mustangs both had ground effect lighting that caused confusion and led several drivers to call the police.

In these cases, there is no evidence that anyone was trying to impersonate police according to Elizabethtown PD.
Hardin County Sheriff's Office is still searching for a gold, older model Chrysler with emergency lights on the sun visor and inside the rear window. This vehicle was reported pulling over drivers; one incident occurred on US 62 near Central Hardin High School.

Very few things you could do to a truck that would get you pulled over in GA, but that sure as heck was oneDave1965 wrote:lots of rednecks running blue lights around their trucks these days...static blue lights...annoying as the rednecks themselves (who are usually in the left lane holding up traffic around here)
