ATN THOR LTV Review
I saved up almost $300 in Cabela points and then had a $300 Gift Card so I decided to buy a Thermal Optic for Yote hunting. I looked at several options around $1K and decided on the ATN LTV since it would take an SD card for photos and videos. Got it home and charged it for 8 hours, but had issues getting it to turn on. Once on it took about 15 min to go through all the options. First thing that was cool is I could see the studs through the sheet rock in my basement. It has two options one to make everything white and then heated objects black. You can then make everything dark and heated objects white. I took it hunting on Saturday to see how it worked in the woods. I was able to track some squirrels in a tree and play with the different settings. This optic would be great in an open area since the trees and brush block a lot of your view. I had issues keeping the optic to stay on and sometimes couldn't get power at all. Today I decided to return it to Cabela's since I couldn't consistently keep it powered on.
