Aquila ammo
I've been experiencing some feed issues with Aguila ammo through my 22/45 Mk3. It seems to have a waxy, tacky covering on it. Anyone else observe this?
Naturally the lever gun eats anything so no problem with it there.

Re: Aquila ammo
One of my old MKIII 22/45's extraction issues only with them but would feed okay, as long as the spent shell didn't stick or stovepipe. I swapped to Volquartsen extractor and got the loaded chamber eliminator and it fixed it. Not sure which one, I did them at the same time. I've had quite a few 22/45's II, III & IV's (all 3 of my MKIV's) with feed issues but it was with all ammo. Volquartsen mag releases fixed all feed issues with them. I also solved feed issues with a friends MKIII 22/45 with a Pac-Lite upper with their mag release also. But like I said, all of them had feed issues with all different ammos, not just Aguila.

It's cycling Remmington pretty well. Don't have extra money to put into it ATM. I'm at 2, going on 3 new guns this week already and wife is at her limit.

Re: Aquila ammo
I'm 99% sure I have a Tandemkross one I took out of a MKIV that is compatible with all the 22/45's. I'll mail you it if you like, I'm not using it. I definitely don't plan on buying anymore Ruger MK's. As much as I love them, the SW22 Victory is SOOOOOOO much better straight out of the box. Plus Ruger went crazy on their prices when the MKIV's came out...haha
