Magpul Hunter X22 modification
Ive always wanted a Hunter X22 stock, but they're not made to accommodate a Tac Sol SB-X barrel. Today that changed. I picked up a used stock, a Dremel, and some 80 & 100 grit sandpaper.

Going to McDonalds for a salad is like going to a prostitute for a hug.

Re: Magpul Hunter X22 modification
Actually no. The original design of the X22 stock has a rib on the muzzle end of the barrel tray that the barrel rests on. I had to cut out that area of the barrel tray to allow room for the silencer shroud. Now, the shroud itself rests slightly on the end of the stock. I'm torn whether to leave it as is, retrofit another "rib" near the end of the barrel tray, or sand some more where the shroud makes contact with the stock and make it a true "free float"Livewire wrote:Nice. I’m assuming the barrel is still floated.
