Re: 9mm SBR
What handguard & length is that coach? Looking to build something very similar. My flashcan should be here on Sat & waiting for anyone to get a Matrix 11" handguard back in stock. Still need a BCG & LPK
edit: just noticed you cut the handguard down to size

Re: 9mm SBR
1/2x36 threading, came with an adapter, though my suppressor adapter direct from YHM is on its way to me so that i can thread the suppressor on the barrel directly without the needs for an adapterNiceguy wrote:1/2x36 or 1/2x28 threads? Does it have the normal 5.56 ejection port or smaller 9mm port? Looks great!
it is a regular 556 dust cover, it also doesn't have a forward assist

Re: 9mm SBR
Called the ATF today. Both eform form 1's are pending for my 9mm and 300 blk SBR's. Turned them in on 1/7 & 1/8 respectively.

Re: 9mm SBR
If they are pending, does that mean all the information on the forms was correct and can proceed to the approval stage? This is all new to me...

Re: 9mm SBR
I was thinking about one of them also. Do you have to use a different build kit or bolt or anything?Gunsmokin wrote:Ordered my side-charging upper this morning from JBO.

Re: 9mm SBR
Don't think so. Says it will work on any AR-15 platform on the Matrix website. You do have to have a special cam pin that has a lip protruding up to engage the the bolt handle.

For the old school feel you could go with a PPS43. Has a folding stock. It's 9mm so ammo is cheaper.
Go with an AR15 platform. Then you can switch uppers and put whatever caliber you want on it. 22, 5.56, 7.62, 300 blackout, 9mm, 22-250.
Or go the Glock route. We all know there is s ton of stuff for Glock. You could even carry it as an sbr concealed. They make rigs just for that.
All I know is each one is fun in its own way.
