Go Cards
Get your head back in the game! I thought it could be a close game, at times it is. Get it together 2nd half.

Re: Go Cards
great game. proud of the cards.
It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. Re: Go Cards
Not by uofk fans. They talk like uofk is God's gift to bball but 2 points at home should be embarrassing. 1 shot from a loss. If they were at uofl would it have been different? Of course home advantage is real but it is what it is. I don't really watch bball unless it is one of them anyways. UK totally choked the last 2 minutes
Re: Go Cards
No they choked at the end, and Hawkins didn't get that last shot off but Ulis surprised him and didn't take the shot and passed it instead. Stupid with time as it was. Skal was his normal non-effective self missing three easy hoops that would have added 6 points. Need to keep that kid out for a while until he gets his feet under him in heavy contact games.
Re: Go Cards
I hadn't heard it anywhere else but given the situation at UL with the hooker stuff...
wife coined the phrase Pimptino today. She posted on one of the news stations, wonder if anyone will run with it.
And classy him flippin the bird to fans after the game (with video of it) and then him saying he was giving them the "we are no 1" sign instead

oh I am sure the fans were giving him hell. But being a professional coach, you would learn to have heard that a million times or more in all your career. Just like the players do.

He should have not done it I agree. I will say had the other coach done it here there would be a different spin to your reply such as my point of view or a variation of it like "he's only human".Dave1965 wrote:jackalo626 wrote:Yeah I'm sure the choir boy fans there weren't yelling profanities and taking personal shots at him and it was one sided lmfao.Dave1965 wrote:I hadn't heard it anywhere else but given the situation at UL with the hooker stuff...

Re: Go Cards
nope , look at my personal thread again, I called our coach out just as much for not teaching players respect that he should, just like others. And I gave props to the Card player who actually showed my version of respect at the game. Never an excuse for a multi-million dollar coach to do that (or millionaire player for that matter). I would just think of the bank account and smile and walk on.jackalo626 wrote:He should have not done it I agree.
