If it's brown it's down here this early. We need to put some meat in the freezer.
There is one very large buck we've had our eye on for a few years but he's clever. Year round we see deer come through in groups of 20 or so daily. There are a couple young and dumb bucks but this one big guy has only been seen a couple times. I missed him two years ago. I had him in my scope and my eyeglasses suddenly fogged right as I slipped my finger in the trigger guard. He hasn't given me another opporunity since. I have since cut the material covering my face out of my head gear. That won't happen again.

The fun really starts after the kill. Some people can process deer after deer but, I'm usually tired of messing with it after about 3. If one does it all it's a lot of work.Rem700 wrote:Hoping to get my first deer ever on saturday evening or sunday morning. Very excited!
