For me, packing heavy means the P938 plus 2 spares, my G19 plus 2 spares, and a carbine in the car with 9 30 rd mags.Rem700 wrote:Always....glock 19 and a spare mag, CRKT folder on my weak sideWyldman wrote:Packing heavy this weekend, I am.

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I'm heading for Texas tonight so no worries on my part. I'd have been at work the whole time anyway, but just in case the natives are restless elsewhere I'll have my Shield, two extra mags and a couple of Kershaws with me.

I'm sure this was nothing but a random prank. Now that the media is blowing it up, though, i'm afraid its put ideas into heads.

A random prank in several cities across the country? Like I said, I doubt if this will be anything. But like always, I'll be ready if it is

If this BS was to really go down , I'm sure we would work out a KAC survival point/stronghold. I imagine our membership alone would turn the tide of anything like this. I'm 99.9% sure this thing is BS but I will be packing the heavy stuff just in case.

Re: The Purge in Louisville?
Now some of my family members are worried and asking if I can lend them a gun. These are the same people who won't come off of $500 for glock or $300 for a decent shotgun, but of course have new cars.
Hopefully the fear/anxiety they're feeling will open their eyes, but more likely they'll forget all about it once the 'purge' comes and goes without incident.

Re: The Purge in Louisville?
it will only open their eyes if you don't lend them guns. The guys at work say when this happens they are coming to my house and I say you will be treated as a threat like the others. You have the same chance at prepping as I do.Tyler wrote:Now some of my family members are worried and asking if I can lend them a gun. It's funny how many people say they are coming to my house. Two or three extra bodies wouldn't really be bad though...cover more sides of the house at once...loljackalo626 wrote:it will only open their eyes if you don't lend them guns. Re: The Purge in Louisville?
No one really says they are coming to my house, but that is two fold...
1) I don't talk to anyone outside of KAC about how many guns, ammo, and supplies I have.
2) They know I don't give a shit about them after TSHTF. At that point, it's every man/woman/child for themselves.

Re: The Purge in Louisville?
Any chance this is promotion of a new installment for another movie?
Or plans to use Louisville for filming?
If not...oh well. I'll be in Shelby County if anyone needs someone to lay down cover fire. I'll be free to play spare trigger man.
Some employees here are talking like they'll be going to louisville to participate in this supposed purge. :jackoff motion:

A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".
