Re: What did you pick up today?
Got the Faxon ARAK-21 full upper in yesterday (12.5" 5.56 and .300 BLK barrels ...). last night, I built up my Honey Badger lower with a Timney trigger, Blackhawk pistol grip and SIG arm brace ... put it all together and this is what it looks like .... That's a combo red dot/laser sight and a (ahem... muffled) Harbor freight flashlight in a UTAC mount...
Now for some range time ...

I shattered the screen on my iPhone yesterday. I got a used iPhone 5 to hold me over. The 4 worked great for almost three years it seems.

10 dozen ears of Silver Queen corn. Got them shucked, silked, cut off cob, cooked, in quart bags in the freezer. Lot of work, but worth it.
Cutting grass is the price I gladly pay for not being cold.

Silver Queen is the stuff of the gods.

Good deal. Worst case scenario, you take it to cranky in a bucket. Lolrustynuts wrote:I'm going to try.

Re: What did you pick up today?
Went to look at a set of used 15" whitewalls and came home with those, a new unused set of 5 Firestone wide white bias ply on old Chevy 6 bolt 16" rims, two Ford grill shells and a visor. SCORE. Dude also had a '56 Chevy 2 door wagon with a roof chop and a one piece flip front (a la 2 Lane Blacktop) but I didn't bring that home.

I got a pretty good buzz tonight. We went to bluegrass indoor carting for some racing fun then roosters for some drinks. Time to shut down fourth street.

So, what I hear you saying is, you were looking around at dicks...Niceguy wrote:More .22. I didn't even go for it and made a score... I got some shoes and a few other things from Dicks online and they shipped the shoes with the fucking security thing still on them! I bitched until they gave me 20% off my total order so I went and had it taken of at the one on Westport road and decided to check on .22 for the hell of it. They still had more, $19+tax.

My wife made that mistake a few years ago looking for Heeleys for the kids.
