The New Ares SCR
Accepts any AR15 upper and mags, yet should be legal in all 50 states and proves that "assault rifle" bans are purely about aesthetics...

Re: The New Ares SCR
beats the hell out of a kel-tec! ugly... VERY ugly.. but an awesome idea for guys out in California as an alternative to using a bullet button. I'd like to see some failure test to see if there is any negative to having the buffer spring at an angle rather then directly behind it.

Pretty crazy how they were able to get the buffer to sit at an angle. I dont see how the BCG could go back at a downward angle like that but it appears they did it.

prolly uses a roller system not looking at it. there are piston systems for equipment drives that do this

I like it. Pisses off the gun lobby AND looks good in the process. Price needs to come down and they need to sell just the (complete) lower, though.

Looks like an un-coverted saiga and an AR got together and 9 months later......
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: The New Ares SCR
I emailed the company last night to see about purchasing the lower separate. Currently they have no plans of doing that due to needing their special bolt carrier. Bummer... Maybe one day they'll offer a package with the lower ad their bcg?
