form 1 question
Questions on a ATF Form 1
(I'm sbr'ing a krinkov)
1. #2 application is made by do I put individual and also this is being done with a gun trust no corporation or business.
2. On part 3b do I need to put revocable living trust next to my name above my address?
3. Do I leave 12 & 13 blank and where do I put the trust? (Do I staple it to the back of the form 1?)
4. Any other advice about the paperwork side of the nfa items will be welcome.

E-file if you have trust. This thread will walk you through it.

Re: form 1 question
I've just been told by a unreliable source that the ATF is no longer accepting trust. Is this true? Its the first I've heard about it.

Re: form 1 question
No. There are rumblings that there is movement in that direction, but it has not come to pass, as yet.

Re: form 1 question
Would it be safe to file a form 1 using a trust with all the talk or just get a CLEO

Tyler speaks truth. They have to honor all submissions prior to any changes in procedure, anyway.Tyler wrote:I'll be getting mine in before any changes are made. These changes may not take place until 2015, if at all.

What's an hour when you're potentially saving months on the wait time.gaston_kalash wrote:Just started my eform it only took me an hour to register to get a log in and password. Man that website sucks.Tyler wrote:E-file if you have trust. This thread will walk you through it.

Re: form 1 question
I saw a Form 1 trust e-filed on ATF tracker go thru in 4 months. If that is true I am going to kick myself in the ass for mailing mine!

It's true. Started at 3 months until word got out about the efile system. Up to four months now, but one guy had his approved in under a week.Smithengineered wrote:I saw a Form 1 trust e-filed on ATF tracker go thru in 4 months. If that is true I am going to kick myself in the ass for mailing mine!

Send the rifle and a COPY of your stamp to the gunsmith of your choose. Might want to talk with Cranky.gaston_kalash wrote:Got another question guys. If you form 1 a rifle to sbr are you the one that has to do all the work or can you send it off to have the work done?
