On This Memorial Day

Post by WLJ » Tue May 21, 2013 10:41 pm

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Memorial Day is for rememdering our fallen heroes, regardless what the Democrats and liberals think.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our people in the services of our country, the fallen, the yet to fall, and the survivors, who are often victims in their own rite. Even if they make it back in one piece, many may never be whole again.

Thank you all for your sacrifices. A moment of silence, please.................
IN GOD WE TRUST

Big shout outs to those who spend time away from family, friends, and familiar places. Staying in a place where people not only don't want you there but having to watch your back 24/7 is a major sacrifice and we thank you for doing it.

It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. - Daniel Webster
