Re: Open Range Leagues
As long as you get there before 7 you can shoot. Doesn't take but 10 minutes to shoot your 50 ( If even that ). They just spread it out over 2 hours and you can come at any point. If there's a lot of folks there you might have to wait a bit as they take you in groups.

Open Range Leagues
I did this tonight and it was fun. It just went to fast, it needed to last longer... It was the first time I've done a timed shoot and I felt like it showed. Mostly on the 50' & 75' distance. I definitely needed to slow down. I was empty and seemed like eternity before time was up. I guess first time anxiousness... Distances, strong hand, weak hand all seemed pretty easy. Just needed to slow it way down. If you didn't make it tonight I would recommend giving it a shot, it was fun. It really gave me the itch to do a lot more competitive shooting.

Re: Open Range Leagues
What kind of shooting is this? (Sorry if this is a dumb question!) Went to GLIPSC a few times before I moved out into Oldham County. If this is anything like that, I'm in!

Open Range Leagues
You just stand in a lane and shoot at 5 (I think) different distances with different amount of times. Then 21' both hand, strong hand, weak hand and both hand again. All 5-8 rounds at a time. I've never shot anything else so not sure if it's like any others. Two weeks from tonight they do the same thing but rimfire only. I look forward to it...
