The Lefty Thread
I looked and did not see this.
I'm a left handed primary and hand handed secondary due to poor sight out of my right eye.
I use a right handed ar so of course I have problems sometimes with it but from trying out new gear and what not I have found a pretty good set up.
ANYWAYS I made this thread so that lefties can talk about ar accessories that are ambi or left handed only.

Re: The Lefty Thread
I am left eye dominate and right handed which can make for an interesting shooting experience.
My friend is left handed and was looking at building (i think) a stag left hand upper. Anyone have any experience with them?

Try being left handed and forced to operate right handed. No surgical tools for us.

Re: The Lefty Thread
The AR is made to run off of either side with no trouble, I run mine right hand , right side/ Left hand left side/ right hand left side/ left hand right side. Shoot from the left eye or the right eye, one closed, one open, both open. There is a left side and a right side, not one or the other.
Left handed ARs only do one thing, make replacement parts more expensive and harder to find.

Re: The Lefty Thread
I understand, but my problem is that I can not see out of my right eye very well. When I try to use my aimpoint with my right eye it turns into like 16moa lol. Really the only thing a lefty needs to run a right handed ar is a left handed charging handle. It really is a mustson of liberty wrote:The AR is made to run off of either side with no trouble, I run mine right hand , right side/ Left hand left side/ right hand left side/ left hand right side. Re: The Lefty Thread
Well since the left hand is control by the right side of the brain then it stands to reason that left handed people are the only people in the right state of mind.
