Once I get it, the SBR will be my go to. More maneuverable and accurate enough out to a couple hundred yards.

for versatility of use I like 1x-4x scope (I do like a micro dot as well but doesn't offer as much at range), 16 inch barrel, flat top, 6 pos stock, I like extended hand guards as long as possible, Larue mounts.

SBR hence the whole MOUTguru thing but a RECCE (Recky) is a close second as I also worked as a PDM.

My carbine. The sbr has to much fouling for a go to gun. I can only get 300 rounds before it needs cleaning.

I am using 22.5 grain of Varget with 55 FB hollow point. But its a 7.5 inch barrel. SO there is alot of half carbon left in the chamber. I am going to try some H4895 next its the fastest rifle powder I can find before getting into pistol powder.

After about 300 rounds it starts chewing up the sides of the cases and failing to eject. I can clean the chamber and it runs great again till its dirty.

Interesting. One more reason I went with a 10.5" barrel on mine

I like a good ol' M4 pattern. I don't much care if it's carbine or midlength. I like longer handguards. (the cut-outs are nice). I like irons, and an Aimpoint Micro. I like 20 round mags. I like small stubby VFGs.

I always enjoyed Vicker's quote on weapon choice (vs. scatterguns), "I have an M4; what the hell do I need a shotgun for?"

SBR. Of all the ARs I've built for myself, they're the most fun, practical, and maneuverable.

It all depends what you use it for for. For me it's the racey competition type of gun.

SPR are my favorites. I can reach out and touch someone, or i can get personal if the SHTF. Besides all that i love them ar the range. I can play up close with a reflex sight or i can put a target waaaayyy out there and have some fun.
