Re: Stainless barrel?
I run a few match barrels that are stainless, no problems and they are my most accurate but im sure thats due to the whole MATCH thing.

Re: Stainless barrel?
Stainless barrel can be "match" grade or not.
I prefer standard steel from a gunsmithing level but neither
Like or dislike stainless steel.

Re: Stainless barrel?
I'm thinking about getting this, and later having it cut to 14.75" and the A2 flash hider pinned on since I can't find anyone to drill my 14.5" barrel for the FSB. I don't want to use a clamp on FSB

Re: Stainless barrel?
If you're willing to send it out to be worked on I'm sure there are plenty of reputable businesses that would work on it.

Re: Stainless barrel?
here's the one I'm looking at:
http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.ph ... ng-handle/
compared to a 14.5" mid length with FSB, this is cheaper, and comes with a 'free' upper (relatively speaking) that would offset the cost of shortening it...

Re: Stainless barrel?
Ordered one of those last night. Can't be too bad. I don't think you or I would be able to tear it up.
Figured with that and the other parts I have it should be about a 400 dollar build.

I am not impatient. Ordered it on credit card. I have no qualms about using them to do my bidding and saying they never filled my order. I have ordered from them before with no problem.
