I’ve never had and problems with steel case ammo . But I still try to feed my rifle brass as much as possible

Thread from the dead...
I use brass in my "better" firearms.
I've heard "Branden Herrera", if it won't shoot steel then it doesn't deserve brass.

I can see that for most guns but some,... well I wouldn't say never, but I'd be hard press to run steel thru them.
But that's just me.

The thing I really like about steel is that a decent magnet on a rope or pole will save you a ton of bending when collecting.

But the, Brass rakes, work pretty good at the range too.
Once in awhile I use a brass catcher and leave the bottom open and kinda back roll it from the bottom then the casings are directed straight down. I'm thinking about putting a bucket under it just to be lazier.
