I want an AR 15
I want an AR 15
I need all your help and knowledge.
I want another AR 15 because I just do. Trying to find a cheap one as I want to get it cerakoted in white to.make it look stormtrooperish. No I am not a star wars fanatic, I just think it would look cool. Its use would be for random things. I just want a functioning AR 15, at WASR price and quality.

$270 and $220 for upper and lower plus CH and BCG which makes it about $600 in the end. Good deal? What is a cheaper option?
Id prefer carbine over midlength.

Re: I want an AR 15
Del Ton is good to go in my experience. Black Friday sales had some DPMS I think it was for $469 and they are fine. I have had good luck with Palmetto but some people have had issues with Customer Service or shipping times. I own all these brands without an issue. Ruger for around 569 is a good option. I believe you are in Louisville and I think Tilfords is a good place to go and if you want to make the drive I think you could go to Bourbon City Tactical in Bardstown and they may negotiate more so than Louisville stores on getting one or what you want.

Smith and Wesson makes a great budget AR. On paper, when compared to the mil-spec TDP, it doesn't look like anything special but at least in the past they've been constructed with the care expected from pricier options.
