Just an FYI.... we are in the process of running out our first batch of receivers with the FULL SALTBATH HARDENING process. We will provide more details as our processes become finalized, but know that we will soon have our top-selling pre-drilled AK-47 receiver in a large quantity in stock with a Rockwell hardness from 38-42 on the C scale across the entire receiver.

This is a big step for us as we roll out large quantities. We are catering to the large-scale manufacturers now and with them come huge quantities. It just doesn't make sense to do what we were doing anymore.

Regardless, there will soon be a sale to clear out the old stock of the spot hardened receivers. Stayed tuned for a discount code to be announced in the near future!

How many receivers can you rack at a time?

well, we aren't doing the process, we are subbing it out to the pros! That kind of equipment is large and hot! Something we don't want around but we'll happily pay this reputable company to do it for us!

We are sending quantities of at least 150 pcs per batch....

When I work in toolmaking full time , that's what the plastic plant I worked for did.
I was in charge of heat treating and we would send out two/three parts a month.
Else a bucket of oil, furnace , and a torch is what we used.

I run salt pots, for receivers I could see salt pots doing well for controlling decarb and warping, but beyond that you are going to an extreme , im sure your customers will never really understand the extremes your going to in order to provide the very best product.

That's OK... we just want them to be the best that we can provide.
