Gun skins wraps
Anyone ever used them? I was thinking about putting one on my 3 gun rifle for shits and giggles.
Are they easy to install and how do they hold up.

Re: Gun skins wraps
Only thing like that I ever tried was on an old mossberg shotgun. Didn't work too well. The stuff you're talking about is probably far advanced from the camo stickers fro 15 years ago.

This is vinyl wrap that you put on then heat to make it shrink to fit.

Yeah, the other stuff was just a sticker. It didn't conform too well to the compound curves. This stuff is more like what they wrap vehicles with.Dustin wrote:This is vinyl wrap that you put on then heat to make it shrink to fit.

Re: Gun skins wraps
My neighbor wrapped his turkey gun with it. It seems to be holding up just fine so far. We shot it a bunch at elk creek a few weeks back.

Re: Gun skins wraps
I wouldn't put it on anything that has been blued. Wraps hold up decent for short time periods. They work best on coated surfaces.
