AR15 buffer retainer pin stuck!

Post by Mike » Wed Jul 08, 2015 8:49 am

Anyone have a fix for this? The buffer retainer pin was really tight going into this lower and I made the mistake of pushing it down and now it's STUCK. ITS TIGHT. I've tried freezing it and oiling it and pulling at it with Needle nose pliers. It won't pop up. Scared it might have to be drilled out and replaced.

Warm the lower up in the oven to 150 or so, then turn a can of air duster upside down and freeze the pin. It may work...

Can I say let the hooker out of your trunk, she can suck it out of there.

LOL.

Well all it took was about 3 seconds with a torch and it popped right out! Gave the edges a sanding with 2000 grit sand paper and it works just fine now.

I didn't let the hooker out of the trunk though.
