Possible 10/22 mods...
I got another 10/22 and want to keep it a fairly cheap iron sight shooter I don't feel like I have to worry about bumping it or getting a speck of surface rust on it, with the option to screw my can on (assuming I ever get it!) and do a really quiet mag dump if I so choose to do...haha
Is it possible to cut a cheap, light, threaded .920 barrel (TacSol or something like them) for a front sight so I could use tech sights on one? Or does anyone know of a lightweight barrel manufacturer that offers one cut for a front sight or is a rail mounted optic my only option with a aftermarket barrel?

Thats cool I just looked at the Tech sigh stuff. Maybe Cranky could make something like that. So you could run a can and have sights.

Make or buy a barrel band with a dovetail in it for front sight.
Tech sight could have one already.
Machine band could be aluminum and can be glued or set screwed in place.
May have to turn barrel down to create a shoulder.

Tech Sight does indeed have a barrel adapter for .920 barrels, but that doesn't help with the suppressor mounting issue.

It looks like it sticks out past the end of the barrel.guncrank1 wrote:Only need hole in front .5 instead of.25Whootsinator wrote:Tech Sight does indeed have a barrel adapter for .920 barrels, but that doesn't help with the suppressor mounting issue.
