Post by ManicMechanic » Mon Oct 14, 2013 5:15 pm

Quick question for you guys. I have a new Taurus PT111 G2, and I know they havea problem with the rocoil spring breaking. My question is this.......anyone know where to get an after market spring guide that isn't made of plastic?
It's like flipping a coin, no matter what side it lands on......it's someone else's dime

The recoil spring is breaking or the recoil spring guide?
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Sorry guys, been busy at workand haven't had much time for the old interweb lately. I may be mistaken, it may be an ealier version of my gun that was doing it. But from heard, it was the guide rod that was breaking on them.
