slow licensing
Just a note to those who haven't taken their class yet.....the state is running way behind.
I took my class the first or second weekend of November, and received my training certificate 3 weeks later.
I submitted my application around December 15.
KSP says to expect my carry license in early MAY....to JUNE. That's 7 to 8 months to complete the process.....which I think is ridiculous.

Re: slow licensing
This is not much of a consolation but there is a silver lining here. It's taking so long because so many thousands of Kentucky residents are coming on board with the 2A. Yeah it sucks for those waiting for their ticket but it's pretty cool for the shooting sports and our 2a rights as a whole.

Only thing that scares me is how many idiots might be packing soon. I know most know what's to be expected of them, but there's always those certain few....

I feel like for the idiots, it's more of a security blanket than something they will actually do. CCing isn't the easiest most comfortable thing to get used to. It takes work for it to feel natural. Just having more in the mindset that guns are not evil and shouldn't be a right that is stripped from us I think is good.86 slo-vo wrote:Only thing that scares me is how many idiots might be packing soon. Re: slow licensing
Just got a nice surprise today.....my Notice of Issuance 3 months earlier than I expected! Now I just have to find time to make it down their office, figure out which building I have to be in, and the right office (last time I got a little lost).
