An Army officer was minding his own business last week when he was suddenly assaulted in a busy Walmart in Albany, New York.

According to reports, Yiqiang Wu, screamed offensive comments regarding the U.S. and the soldier’s service to the nation.

“It looks like he displayed a great deal of restraint, which is consistent with the armed forces, law enforcement and public service,” said Officer Steve Smith, of the Albany Police Department, referencing the soldier’s response.

The unnamed 43-year old captain suffered bruising to his face and a laceration over his eye and was treated by Albany Fire Department personnel. Wu has been charged with assault and a hate crime.

Had I been present and seen said officer restraining himself from fighting back, I would not have been so restrained and been happy to throw a beating to the asshole assaulting him. I would be surprised that no one else did what I would have save that it was New York, where the men are pussies, and the women flog the men.

The term hate crime is stupid... A crime, especially assault, is done with hate anyways.. Stop trying to make up names for it..

Maybe the program is different now. When I was in about 95% of the company grade officer I knew would fight you in a freaken heart beat and the other 5% would throw down if forced to. VMI guys where the worst, always fighting.
