Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot Spring Meet - just 2 days??
Saw an ad over the wknd for the upcoming Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. What I read only listed the event as being on Friday and Saturday. Did I read that correctly?? Has the Spring meet been "downsized" to 2 days??
God made man.
Samuel Colt made all men equal.
John M. Browning and the 1911 made some men more equal than others.

Agreed. Been there once on a Sunday and like 70% of the vendors were already shut down and packing up and there maybe a dozen guys still out on the firing line.Dave1965 wrote:Sundays are always dead days at a lot of events, not surprised they are cutting the costs this way especially with gun sales down.

Yes, just 2 days but will have night shoots both nights.
Sundays are lighter days for attendance and most of the vendors are packed up or packing up to get on the road. It was surmised that an additional night shoot would be a bigger draw than a light Sunday.

I only had a few hours to look around due to work schedule. I bought 1,000 of 223 for $175 Brass in ammo can from Pat's. I saw AK / SKS ammo for $80 for 500 rounds Wolf. Double Star had Troy mags for $6 each, but I saw one guy buy off of them. Check out Galanti gun cases in the back of pole barn some are $30 and nice case. MAGA hats $10. Double Star had nice UZI mags for $20 each and I found some lightly used for $15 (32 rds) Recoil Gun Works in front pole barn had some nice defense ammo for sale box or case. Several tables had beef / elk and deer jerky.
Some stuff was stupid. One guy wanted $80 for a Sig MPX magazine.
I didn't have 4 wheel drive and made it in and out okay. I saw a newer Corvette in the parking lot on right so you should be okay getting in and out. When I left at 11 am they were making you go to the lower lot before the bridge. If you could talk your way into it there is plenty of parking by where you buy tickets.

I found some really good deals.
Ammo and used GI mags in bulk.
Also some stuff I'd been chasing for a long time for the MP5.
