For Pete's sake. I can look across the river and see a modern replica of wartime Stalingrad, aka, Cairo, IL. But I guess a state with the most corrupt government outside of Washington didn't make the cut...or maybe it's because the President lived there.

I love living in Kentucky and I'm thankful to be a native Kentuckian.
That said, the yearly property tax on automobiles is criminal. My '03 Tundra is just now getting to the point where I can renew the tags without a stream of profanity directed at our state .gov.

95% of the world's bourbon is made here...this is the best state ever! Can you imagine how much of a surplus we will have once marijuana is legalized in the state.

Never really understood why my home state all ways ranks so low. I mean central location to the eastern United States, outstanding water shed, good solid interstate system, however most of the state run 4 lane system runs to no where, natural gas, coal, some of the best soil for growing stuff in the world, moderate climate, and a hard working blue collar work force that will rivial any workforce in the world if you pay them more than slave wages, cost of living and quality of life right up there and so on and so forth. Only thing that come's to mind is the old established rich want too keep it that way.

I would like the quality of air to rise. The administration that checked LG&E has been cut big time. Originally it had a budget of 150 thousand, but has been cut down to 45. Now, just a one man operation for Jefferson county.

I believe you. This info I have is from a speaker at school talking about a program that was at UofL from the West Jefferson county task force. Maybe his info is wrong, or talking about another program.RecoilSensitive wrote:Toecutter1978 wrote:I would like the quality of air to rise.
