I like working at Dicks Sporting Goods but I have gone from 40 hours to 31 or 33 hours a week and that is getting hard to live on. I now only work at Dicks on Friday nights. I will start at a local machine shop on Monday and I have decided to keep my weekends free to shoot a USPSA match or maybe even make it to a KAC shoot. I also went to firearms service today and cleaned out my tools there. I have decided to spend more time doing some things that I want to do. Shooting fishing and hunting. If you stop by the store I will only be there on Friday evening.
They told me today that there will be no new Lodge lead to take my place just a couple of part time people. They are going to be like Wal-Mart soon with people to hand you a box of ammo.
Anyway I am excited to start a new job doing something I know that I like to do. Maybe now I will get to meet some of the crew on KAC at a shoot.

Its good to do what you want to do and to have some enjoyment in life.
I wonder if this downgrade of Dicks from 40 to 31 is because of obamacare and the full time employee benefits.
