Re: What did you pick up today?
I got 2 ... one was the Astro 2 model and the other was the Astro 3 model ...
The one was 36.99 and the other was 45.99 ... I used Amazon Prime and got free next day shipping ...
I have not used mine yet... just got them charged up... but will report back when I do use it (them)
Here's the link to the bigger one...

Re: What did you pick up today?
I got one for Christmas and I really like it so far. It charges every electronic device I have.adayton wrote:I got a couple of these ANKER chargers ... a buddy had one and he raved about it ...
It will charge your phone 2-3 times to a full charge ... and quickly...
Not like one of those little batteries that just extend the life of the phone battery, really gives it a quick full charge.
I got one that will charge 2 devices at one time and another a little bigger that will charge 3 devices at one time ... (Had to get one for the wife .. lol)
It is supposed to work to charge the Ipad, too ...
I put an old phone beside it to show relative size ... The phone is my old DroidX

Re: What did you pick up today?
thanks for reply, makes me want to pick one up. How long does it hold a charge? As in 3-4 days or 2-3 weeks? Any clue to how long it holds is a concern of mine.kygator13 wrote:I got one for Christmas and I really like it so far. so far its hold a charge like a champ. I've gone 60 days without charging it after a full charge and it was still 95% full.jackalo626 wrote:thanks for reply, makes me want to pick one up. Re: What did you pick up today?
I put my Astro 3 to the test today ... My Droid4 was Dead (0%) and I plugged it into the charger ... 30 min later, at 30%. I turned the phone on ... At 60 minutes it was 60% ... at 90 minutes, 90 % and I thought ... WOW ... this is great ... 40 minutes later, still at 90%, I unplugged it ... Only 2 segments gone from the 10 segment display though ... so between 70-80% charge yet in the Anker ... I plugged in my Ipad at 62% charge ... now, 40 minutes later, it is at 70% .... so I think it will take a little longer to charge the Ipad ... OH ... I am also charging the targus Bluetooth keyboard at the same time ... I like the fact that you can charge multiple devices with it ...jackalo626 wrote:that decided it thankskygator13 wrote:so far its hold a charge like a champ. I think it's a keeper ....
Edit: Charging the Droid4 from 0% to full charge, Ipad with a 60% charge and Targus Bluetooth keyboard, the Anker was down to 3 segments (30% charge left) and now I am charging my old Droidx from 0% to see if I can get one more charge in before recharging it ...

Brand new in the box Remington 870 with 28" barrel
A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

Mounted a Bushnell Elite on it that needed a home.

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.
