Yeah, Grade A are some real auto professionals apparently...haha They didn't have one (after I drove 110 miles because they said they had 3 complete rear ends) so I had them order me one. It's 55 miles away so I had them ship it to their Bagdad location since it's only around 15 miles away from me. I couldn't get out of work, so I had one of our delivery girls pick it up for me and that's what they gave her. $75, I can buy a brand new CV shaft from work for $40! I drove ANOTHER 110 miles today to get them to fix the problem. They said they billed me for the correct axle, they just pulled and shipped the wrong one. Of coarse they still said they have one. I went out to the "u-pull" again and they still have the same 4Runners with empty rear housings. The second try at a rear axle is supposed to get to Bagdad again on Thursday. 220 miles, $75 and still no correct axle. I could have bought a new chromoly one for what I paid and cost in fuel at this point...haha Not a total bust though, because I pulled a vapor canister, air filter box off. Also ignition module and connector...Just the module is $330 my cost threw work! They asked me what it was. I said I don't know, it was just something that got broke when rolled over. They said, $15? I said sounds great...hahaha

Nope. It will be solid axle swapped and locked front and rear eventually though. My buddy's 96 does and it worked until over 300,000 miles. It has like 340,000 and still runs and drives pretty good.

Main reason I dislike dealing with salvage yards. Sometimes their prices are so outrageous, an aftermarket piece that is better than OE is cheaper, and delivered to you door. On my trail rig, I stopped replacing parts with OE, it broke for a reason, why put the same back in.

It started out a pretty good deal. But $75 and 220 miles of fuel later, not so much...haha I mainly bought used for all the other little shit. The backing plate, and miscellaneous little parts. When I gear and lock it, I'll probably do a good set of shafts then.

Thanks fellas. Weird fish though. I'm a flat lander from farming country, this was definitely new to me. Fins tuck into slits in its body. Dorsal, pectoral, and there were a couple others too (I don't know what they are called). Plain and simple, kinda creepy fish. The slits look like knife cuts with exposed bare flesh when you pull them open. The fins slide right in and are completely out of sight. Also another strange thing for this land lubber was it's skin. No scales, just a thick hide and red meat underneath. When it was cut open it looked just like red meat muscle tissue.

Yep. 1000+ foot if new water main... Been patching and putting it off since I bought the house. Last months water bill was damn near $150, it's normally $25-29. Definitely was way beyond time to fix it...haha
