I have no *practical* use for this, but I've lusted after one for years. Finally found one at a LE/Mil discount and in a moment of weakness...

Despite the cold, I "played" with it a bit this afternoon. I love it already, but I clearly didn't get enough ammo. (Will remedy that tomorrow.)

I was surprised at how little the trigger sucked, for a bullpup. *Much* better than the one on the Tavor.

Tavor feels like a 10+ pound at the least.

I'm torn between SBRing mine or not. Ballistics are way better with the 16in barrel and since you can't get the full auto model, got to make up the loss in firepower somehow.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

You guys must have girly fingers.
Bear in mind though t's a combat trigger, not a match trigger. Beside if you want to lighten it just remove the reset spring which was put in there by the Israelis to force a trigger reset even if sand gets in there, which was one complaint about the AR, about a 2 minute job. Timney Triggers has just announced an aftermarket trigger.

How's the availability of the 5.7 ammo for the p90 and the pistol?

Ammo's out there. I picked up 800 rounds today, and a quick check online shows it available from multiple sources. The FN-branded stuff can be hard to find, but the Federal isn't.

Put it this way: it's a *helluva* lot easier to find than .22LR ;).

I'm not going to SBR it. At a hair over 26" it's already as short as I need it to be, and I like the extra couple hundred fps it gives. I also prefer the looks this way; the P90 reminds me of a chubby guppy.

ETA: I do have the hands of a concert pianist, WLJ, but they're plenty strong, thankyouverymuch. ;)

My Tavor comment comes from the single example I've handled, but the aspect of the trigger that was most notable to me wasn't that it "heavy" (although it was), but that it was so darned *vague*. If "combat trigger" means a trigger resembling that of a medium machine gun we are in complete agreement.

It's a heck of a lot more expensive then 22. Then again, a heck of a lot more fun to shoot too. I've shot the pistol. Not the p90. I'm sure it's a blast.
