Re: What did you pick up today?
I put 8-10 mags through it last night and really like it. Only thing I don't like is the sites. Looks like the rear is 6" wide or the front is the width of a needle. That's easy enough to change. It feels AWESOME shooting. Feels like a "real" 1911 but with no kick...hahaJustShootIt wrote:Mind sayin what u gave for the Colt 1911/22?

Re: What did you pick up today?
Retails for $65. Ceramic from what the salesman said is more britle if you for example drop it on the ground but has some advantages. Don't know too much other than it was shiny lol. The other one I was looking at in carbon fiber didn't come with a pocket clip. It is really light and that helps me with all the misc bullshit I carry daily.
Re: What did you pick up today?
Got caught up in a gun auction frenzy, picked up this stuff. Just really wanted the Colt. Its a nickel plated 70 series govt. model.
Ak is Arsenal Bulgarian with folding stock. And a standard Ruger SR9 which are good shooters from my experience. Probably just keep the Colt.

Re: What did you pick up today?
Ceramic blades are uber-light weight and retain razor edge sharpness nearly indefinitely. They are, however, very brittle and will chip or crack under very little side load. I carry one that I use strictly for cutting, and only cutting, and it excels at that. The one Dave picked out there is a new model of an older Boker pattern that I'm going to have to see if I can find one I can afford, it really looks like the shit!Marcus wrote:I like. How much?
