When I was a kid, I always told my dad I wanted to have a fishing show on tv because I loved them back then. I was going to call it "Tim's Bass Hole." My mom didn't see the humor in that, for some strange reason....Niceguy wrote:Ex-Yankee workshop? hahaGunsmokin wrote:Tim's garage wood shop

Naming it Ex-yankee workshop on my YouTube channel might get some attention. Might not be the kind I'd want though. Probably be some copyright issues or something.

Thanks guys. I really enjoy all his work he has done for us over the years. He's been doing it longer than I have been alive and everytime I come up with something it gets more complicated and challenging for him.
I really like raised panels. So I wanted raised panels on the sides and the front drawers. It's amazing the time and amount of wood that goes into these things. He builds them from rough lumber that he has stored in the basement for years before it's good enough to use.
There's no cheap shortcuts with his work The next one will be even better but still identical to this one, only made from Walnut!

Re: Post a Pic That You Have Taken From Your Cell Phone
But, I digress. This is a cell phone pic thread, so, here is a cell phone pic to get back on track.
It has been posted in another thread. I made a bullet trap out of this bucket. It is full of sand and has a piece of horse trailer rubber mat on top of the sand.
It is just a safer way to clear a weapon whenever you are disassembling something and have to pull the trigger. Pointing the muzzle down the tube reduces the opportunity for an accident, imo.
It's something I've been contemplating for a while.
I may take it to the range the next time to test a rifle round in it. For now, only pistols would be cleared into it. Also, please don't have the impression that there are wanton rounds being fired into this. This is strictly a safety device for me.
