Need advise. Sex offender has moved into my neighborhood.

I don't have children and can't understand how you feel but if a man committed a crime and paid his debt to society does he not deserve a fair shake albeit a cautious one? We have to at some point respect our criminal justice system within reason. What if he had served time for dui. Would you run him out of the neighborhood for fear he will run you over? If not, what right do we have to determine who and how to hold prejudice against? Is there a list of which crimes we can forgive once debt to society is paid?

Obviously people fear for their children and I don't blame them but people can be rehabilitated.

Also it saddens me you guys would discuss committing vandalism as a way to show your dissatisfaction with a previous law breaker.

Sorry IMO the only debt he should have paid would have been at the end of a rope. His time in the pen was nothing compared to the torture he probably caused that kid for life. His debt is not paid just because our pussified legal system says so.

Let's burn him. He's probably a witch. I mean thats where we are headed right? We all want to exact our own personal justice based on how offended we are personally by someone's crime.

That I agree with. What I disagree with is folks who think it's their personal job to punish people. Push for death sentence handed out by the criminal justice system and I'm in. Push to force someone out of the neighborhood on your own and it's a dangerous lawless path you head down IMO.

Lol One day you should read the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Its amazing what the military maximum penalty is for a lot of things. For instance, maximum punishment is DEATH a lot of times and USED to be for the passage copied below. I had a whole college semester on the UCMJ under ROTC classes and it was enlightening.... current UCMJ seems to have changed and says...

I don't agree with life imprisonment. It ends up costing the tax payers (the victim included) lots of money to house and feed the scum bag who was deemed to horrible to be part of society. Yes I know the death penalty in reality costs more but that is all because of lawyers and our broken Legal system. It's all bullshit. Child molesters, the crime is seen to be fixed with rehabilitation. Some do change, while others do not. It's like a medication for a illness or disease, while some respond well to the treatment, some will not. The horrors that are forced upon the innocent can not be changed. The sad truth is this breeds the possibility of the victim to grow up and commit the same or similar offense.

I don't know what to do with them, kill, separate from society as in prison or treatment facilities. One of the best things that can be done is to study them and see how they were made to do these horrendous crimes. This will help stop future ones from committing them. At least Hopefully stim the tide some.
