Re: Any Call of Duty fans?
Somebody said it earlier it is full blown Halo now. I like it when it was like a real soldier and not fling jet packs, laser guns, and warp speed....but I don't play games anymore so I digress.

There are no vehicles. There are no aliens.Toddstang wrote:Jet bikes and jet packs. More like HALO then HALO.
This installment is "Advanced" Warfare. Everything they put in the game is either somewhat available already or is being prototyped to be produced. The game shows what is a very possible reality to come as far as technology goes.jackalo626 wrote:Somebody said it earlier it is full blown Halo now. And it's a fun game.
You can also join lobby's that have the exo-suit disabled. No double jumping or anything. It plays exactly like a normal COD.

I didn't say it wasn't fun. I at one point only owned a console for cod but got tired of people that lived in it spawn killing, using lag, glitch killers, etc so i.quit playing. No fun playing something you can't win unless cheating or playing full time hours (my experience). Have at it by all means, I just enjoyed simpler versions of it.no0ne wrote:There are no vehicles. Re: Any Call of Duty fans?
I quit buying COD after Black Ops. They've gone away from history-based games to more futuristic stories. They've gone away from the regular soldier to games exclusively about "special" units. I feel that the series has declined because, for all the gadgets and kill streaks, they don't make me care about why the war is being fought.
There are so many other REAL wars they could use, but probably won't.

The commercial video doesn't show actually gameplay. There are no vehicles. The "jet packs" only allow for double jumping, and momentary hovering if you equip that option. You can swap that for a shield, or a few seconds of invisible cloaking.jackalo626 wrote:TruthToddstang wrote:Commercial and demo video shows jet packs and jet bikes.
