I am so sad that in this day and age we can't even shoot on like minded friends property for fear of someone tripping over their own damn feet and suing the land owner for millions due to emotional trauma.

I see 2 issues right now

1 we have sponsors that setup and sell stuff and rent class 3 goodies,I dont think kcr would dig that
2 the ladies of kac(and jsi) make an awesome lunch for everyone,I dont see kcr digging that either

This:
And to that fact that they never returned my call.
Dumbass goober answers phone and acts like he is mildly autistic and cant answer my questions so I ask if anyone could. He said no one there at the time. I ask to take my name and number and have so called "person who knows" to call me back. This was in March.

The $200 is on me if it actually happens... I think everyone would be willing to pay $10 to have a shoot.

It's not the money it's the point,if we rent the range there shouldn't be an entry fee or vice versa

Ok I know Kenny to a degree
If the FF fathers really want this, some business can be arranged.
As to sponsors and concessions, like I said buisness man should be able to arrange something.

It sounds like right now we're basing our discussion off of hearsay. Has anyone actually talked to someone at KCR face to face about this?

Discussed it with someone there long ago. My results were similar to Todd's.
Per pm, knob creek will get a phone call or visit from me this coming week. I've also been given a very promising alternative that I will contact this week. I understand the frustration that has come from not having a shoot, but it's frustration that we all share.

If anyone has any other options, pm me some info and I'll contact them this week too.

I would be up for a Knob Creek lower range shoot. If everyone chipped in a couple of $$ it would cover the rental fee. My only concern would is being able to drive to the lower range to unload. Several members, myself included, have issues walking any distance.

Last time I was there you could Park at the lower range.

I have only been to the lower range once, during the machine gun shoot about 8 years ago. If we can park there it would be great. I usually bring 8-10 long guns and several ammo cans.

$200 fee = 20 people paying $10 That's what, the price of a movie?
I'll gladly pay twice that.

You will pay twice that, if you include each shooter's range fee.

okay

Lets think about it this way
Lets say we get 50 people (just pulling that number out of my arse) $200/50=$4+$10=$14 which is equal to the price of one box of 9mm or a movie and a small coke.
A bargain in my book. Lets do this.

Does the $10 fee apply to children also? Knowing KCR I think the answer is yes but pretty much every range is going to do that.

Wasn't disagreeing with you at all, WLJ. I just wanted to point out that the cost would likely be closer to $15 to $20 per shooter just so no one would be surprised later.

I agree, that's still a bargain.

$20-$30 for a full day of shooting is not expensive. I would pay that for a group shoot.

I think the definitive answer hasn't truly been concluded yet. Once the deal is sealed I'm sure an easy peasy breakdown will be posted with a simple dollar amount shown.
