GAMES! July 14 shoot
GAMES! July 14 shoot
Marcus has asked me to come up with some games for the shoot. There will be small prizes for all the winners.
So far we have 2 pistol games. You will need a holster for both of these games. One is kind of like an IDPA 3 target/position. The other is a team game. Each of these should only use about half the range that way if other want to do their normal shooting they can.
My question is about shotgun clay shooting. How many will be interested in playing Blue Bird? This will take up the entire range and I don't want to bring my electric thrower if no one is really interested. Clays will be provided by KAC.

I have no idea what Blue Bird is, but I'll bring a shotty just in case.

If you ever shoot Blue Bird with them on Friday Nights, they shoot with #6 shells and don't leave much for anyone else. LOL

Okay, so we eliminate clays or opponents?
Just need to make sure I bring the right gear and hand not planned on Kevlar and Body armor.

Blue Bird
Line of shooters. First shooter yells pull, bird flies. First shooter shoots, then shooter to the right can shoot, then next shooter. Whoever is the last one to shoot the clay eliminates anyone who shot before them.
Example if first shooter breaks clay in half, second shooter shoots half and third shooter shoots other half, both shooter one and two are eliminated.

that sounds waaaaayyyyy to complicated for a drinking game.

Re: GAMES! July 14 shoot
That sounds more like a killer to me. I thought blue bird was the 1st person shot then the second guy had to shot a piece of the broken bird.Paula wrote:Blue Bird

Re: GAMES! July 14 shoot
If you are saying one person busts a clay and then another has to bust the pieces from that clay you should probably count me out. I can barely see a whole clay. I will bring a 3/4 full box of clays you can use btw.

Re: GAMES! July 14 shoot
I totally understand that Paula but due to my eye problems over the last year I literally cannot see the pieces of a clay in the air. Sure I can fire blindly into the air hoping to hit something, which is what most people think is happening when I shoot anyway, ( LOL ) but I really can't see themPaula wrote:KYgundude wrote:If you are saying one person busts a clay and then another has to bust the pieces from that clay you should probably count me out.
