The idea for this thread is post about any good day you had involving firearms. Any pickups, mods, gear, bulk ammo buys, range days etc. Didnt know if this was a good place to put it, ya’ll have a dizzying amount of subforums, free free to move it. If you all have a thread like it I didnt see it. Good days only. Let me start:
Went to kygunco today to buy a S&W 610. Got a rebate, free range bag and knife and free range time I wasnt expecting. Immediately took it into their interactive range along with my model 27. My aim was so fast and true with the 27 it was like someone else was shooting. Headed out for lengua street tacos after that. Took a spirited long way drive home on the backroads to finish.
Today was a good day.

Asked them about that and they said with another range already so close it wasn't worth the money to put one in. Did say that could change in the future.

Was feeling extra stressed yesterday and this morning, decided to hit range usa with a 16” barrel M1A today. Man I have tried so many stocks and optics and aftermarket parts on these things and I think this rifle is as close to my idea of M1A perfection as there is. A slew of SEI parts in a synthetic springfield stock with sadlak rail and pa red dot, usgi sling. Super soft shooting now. Shot a very enjoyable 150 rounds or so, very much felt like she was working with me instead of against me today.
There happened to be a couple of old grandmas at the range, laughing and having a good time. Made me smile.
Hit the home run burger after, food was excellent. Cajun fries are based.
Today was a good day.
