There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: Kroger shooting
My best friend's 16 year old daughter works at that Kroger. She was running late to work or she would have been walking in the door just as it happened.

Not sure how he’s doing. Not someone I know well. Aside from changing his picture on FB to one of him and his mom he’s been quiet online.

Re: Kroger shooting
The swat team raided his house not long afterwords. It wasn’t a gentle knock, they were feeling frisky and used a breaching charge. How do I know? I am at a Halloween party next door to his house and it shattered a light bulb here.
He was the creepy guy next door.

Re: Kroger shooting
that used to be 'our' Kroger when we lived at Park Laureate apartments...I had not been in there for over ten years until I went in there while in the J-Town area back in the summer. I thought I had walked into a 3rd world mercado. Me and a cashier were the only two who were of European descent. I remember telling my wife how sad the place looked...
Re: Kroger shooting
You know I just realized something today. Was wondering why a robbery detective with metro was leading the investigation
Turns out, this happened during the funeral of Jon Lesher, an LMPD homicide detective that had a heart attack. So our homicide team was at the funeral and robbery was covering for them. So our robbery guy is handling the biggest case in his career and it’s a homicide case with the liklehood of it being a death penalty case. That’s kind of nuts. He sent out an email asking people involved to get all their info to him to build this case properly. It’s also a mess because it’s two different agencies handling it. But I think it’s a pretty solid case even if there are little technical mishaps.

Kroger shooting
I’ve been in the store several times since the event, still kinda creepy walking by and inside where people were executed.
