Re: What did you pick up today?
They had a couple of the rifles on the consignment racks that after adding the scope and rings would have cost more than this new one did as is. It wasn't as good as if I'd have gotten one of the $200 ones at Walmart, but I'll take it..lol. My first bolt rifle other than the Mosin I had for a while.Toddstang wrote:I have the same rifle and scope.ssracer wrote:NGD

Re: What did you pick up today?
One reason I didn't want to get a Remington 700 (they had one on consignment racks with scope for $450). Way too much aftermarket temptation...lol

Re: What did you pick up today?
$450 Rem 700 can easily become a $3000 rifle...lolrustynuts wrote:No shit. But I still might.ssracer wrote:One reason I didn't want to get a Remington 700 (they had one on consignment racks with scope for $450). Way too much aftermarket temptation...lol

Re: What did you pick up today?
Lol I can understand that. However my deer rifle is a 700. Only thing I put on it was a sling and the vortex diamondback 4-12 scope. I had a bipod before I hunted with it but took that off when I started hunting. Wanted to keep it light and functional.ssracer wrote:One reason I didn't want to get a Remington 700 (they had one on consignment racks with scope for $450). Way too much aftermarket temptation...lol

Re: What did you pick up today?
those are gorgeous. But I'm good just leaving this one with the black synthetic. I'd magpul came out with one that could be an option...lolJoe wrote:Sean don't you dare go to Richards Microfit and get get one of those pretty stocks. http://www.rifle-stocks.comssracer wrote:$450 Rem 700 can easily become a $3000 rifle...lolrustynuts wrote:No shit. Here is when it came in. We had to bring it in some... I lost 18 lbs since I was measured.
And with a tie today.

Re: What did you pick up today?
Two months late on this one. The certified 15 we had was a piece of crap. It was in the shop over half the time we had it. Sooooo I traded it in for a black 16 Denali.
