What did you pick up today?

Doesn't fit in the other categories? Maybe just want to post up some humor or random happening? This is the place for it.

They had a couple of the rifles on the consignment racks that after adding the scope and rings would have cost more than this new one did as is. It wasn't as good as if I'd have gotten one of the $200 ones at Walmart, but I'll take it..lol. My first bolt rifle other than the Mosin I had for a while.

One reason I didn't want to get a Remington 700 (they had one on consignment racks with scope for $450). Way too much aftermarket temptation...lol

Lol I can understand that. However my deer rifle is a 700. Only thing I put on it was a sling and the vortex diamondback 4-12 scope. I had a bipod before I hunted with it but took that off when I started hunting. Wanted to keep it light and functional.

Two months late on this one. The certified 15 we had was a piece of crap. It was in the shop over half the time we had it. Sooooo I traded it in for a black 16 Denali.
