What did you pick up today?
Re: What did you pick up today?
Ha, I have their email and a video of the former owner...or thief maybe . not worried, the store I shop at would make it right to me if it was. They have a STACK of them coming out of pawn every week (have seen them) and the manager tells me he has to destroy a bunch as they sit in the back so long while being paid on that they get something wrong with them.Mike wrote:Dave1965 wrote:Wondered who would ask that. No, from pawn shop which runs everything through the Po Po.Mike wrote:Dave1965 wrote:IPAD Air 2 for $100 with a couple hundert songs already on it...not too many photos of the white guy that used to own it.
Stolen?
Ha! That just means the victims didn't know the serial number. Bet if you tracked them down the story would be different.
Hope not though.
And the manager told me he had double what I paid in it but they wanted rid of a bunch of inventory and especially since they had a lot of those.

A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".
