Re: What did you pick up today?
I picked it up Friday but didn't get it home until 1am today. If you were following my journey on FB you would have seen me fly to Salt Lake, go to Karl Malone's Dodge dealership, buy a jeep and drive it home.
06 Rubicon Unlimited with a manual transmission. The TJ Unlimited was not a popular body style. I don't know why. It's the same size as the JK 4 door body with only 2 doors.

The 2 door Unlimited model is/was probably the best looking modern era Jeep made. Still love a CJ.Marcus wrote:That's REALLY NICE!Jff24Gordn wrote:I picked it up Friday but didn't get it home until 1am today. Nice! I had an 06 LJ and loved it! More capable than the short wb TJ and more agile than the 4 door. Oh, and it was red too. That's good for at least another inch or 2 of ground clearance

Re: What did you pick up today?
nice jeep, I was talking to my wife this weekend when she mentioned what she would like to see still in this country (Grand Canyon, Hoover dam, etc.) and my only desire is to visit Custer Battlefield still. We talked about maybe even driving out to see all of it along to my brothers house in WA this summer if we had time to do it. Not sure how long that would take but I told her we have to go in the roadster so we don't take much with us or come home with much.

Re: What did you pick up today?
Waiting on my porch for me today:
1000 rounds 147gn Speer Lawman 9mm
9*75 rounds Federal Auto Match 22 (3 boxes 325 each)
Yesterday, met Irishrob and picked up Rem 700 SPS Varmint in 308
Busy week - being off last week for funeral things was hard on my pocketbook - too much time to surf for deals and engaging in retail therapy

Picked up an MFT Torch for the AR9. Also got a BCM KAG and installed them.

However, the aside to the story is that this and some other stuff I bought came out of The Professors (Russell Johnson) Estate Sale a little while back over in Indiana. He passed away in 2014 and apparently was a big collector of older sports cards, autograph stuff, military items, and gold and silver bullion. The price was right and it had some provenance as well.
I just dug out the only two baseball cards I kept. Probably not worth much now a days

Not sure if this is as cool as that knife that Whoots got, but this came home with me from 111 today.
