need a new microwave- who has best prices?

Post by kokopelli » Thu Oct 29, 2015 1:56 pm

The high voltage transformer in my 9 1/2 year old Goldstar microwave burnt out. The replacement part is about $70, but with how old the microwave is I think I'm better of replacing it instead of repairing it.

Who has the best prices in town for a microwave? I need a black, over the range model...

Have no idea. Wife and I are still rocking the 26 year old Amana microwave that my parents gave to us as a wedding gift. I think you can split atoms in it.

Lowes scratch and dent section.

Got a $400 microwave for $200 a few years ago because of a scratch that is hidden.

The old microwave we had was pretty bad. With that steel plate in my head I used to piss my pants and forget who I was for a half hour whenever we used it.

Convection microwaves are spensive. Basically turn into little mini convection ovens.

Lol. Thanks for the fri morn laugh. I needed it

I remember that feeling back when we were climbing towers. If someone forgot to turn one of the microwaves down, it would give you a serious headache when you got about 40' from it.

Thanks everyone.
Found one I liked- 199 at Lowes, same one 159 at HH Gregg.
Lowe's does price match plus 10%.
Bam.
Went to Kroger and got a gift card for lowes for the fuel points.
Bam. Bam.
