Re: glock .25 cent trigger job
talking about the polishing?
I did it lightly the first time, it was so so. Then I did it again and spent quite a bit of time on it while watching tv and it was quite a bit smoother. Have to put time in it though.

glock .25 cent trigger job
I have done it. Smooths out the trigger. But I put a ghost connector the it got really light.

Yah, I've done it before. Make sure to polish the connector.... Remove as little material as possible. If I remember right removing too much material causes a very undesirable result from what I've read. The best Glock trigger I've ever felt is on GunDoc's competition gun years ago.

Re: glock .25 cent trigger job
did this yesterday and took my time. brought everything to anice "mirror" shine. it definetly took the grittiness out and made it smoother. not sure if it mad it much lighter though. i am gonna grab a 3.5# connector and a 6# trigger spring to make it even better

Agreed, Doc has a nice one, and did a great job on my G21 for me too.Toddinlou wrote:Yah, I've done it before. Make sure to polish the connector.... Remove as little material as possible. The 3.5lb connector and 6 lb spring is the combo I use in all of my Glocks for consistancy between pistols. They feel and break exactly the same, without being dangerously light for carry purposes. Some may disagree, but I have used this formula with outstanding results on my carry Glocks since 1992, I think that pretty much speaks for itself.
The .25 trigger job won't lighten things up very much, as a rule, but will make it much smoother, which could be perceived as lighter by some folks, IMHO.

Re: glock .25 cent trigger job
I did the polish job and 3.5 ghost rocket connector with over travel stop. It made the trigger much nicer still doesn't come close to the pro trigger kit in my xdm but it was 1/4 the price too.
