Buying primers in bulk in KY?
Buying primers in bulk in KY?
Is there any shop in KY where you can walk in and buy a case (5000) of primers at a reasonable price? I prefer to support an in-State shop instead of ordering online if I can. The reloading place in Richmond closed. Maybe KY Gun Co in Bardstown? Anywhere else?

Re: Buying primers in bulk in KY?
KYGunCo averages nearly $40 per K, so not the best price point. Primer production/delivery has more than caught up with demand and there is no reason for them to cost that much.
I bought 15K from a fellow who was liquidating his stock from their store in Perryville at $20 per K, and another 23K from a KYGO forum member in Mt. Washington for about the same price. Deals are out there, just have to hunt for them. I vowed that I would never get caught short again after the shortage under Klinton.

Kentuckiana reloading in clarksville in has competitive pricing and will order anything from their distributor and just toss it on their next order so you wont get hit with a hazmat fee. Plus they are great guys and I want to keep my local reloading shops in business incase I need something in a pinch

I agree that Kentuckiana Reloading is a good place to go. good people and good prices. I like their location too. close to bridge and I65. https://www.facebook.com/Kentuckiana-Re ... 551277803/
I think they are not much better than the $40 per K on primers after tax. their powder prices are nice. their prices tend to be right at or better than stuff I can find online.
